Three kilometres from Groet you will find the village Schoorl. The centre, located next to the dunes, is a very good place to have dinner in the restaurants or to have a drink and enjoy the view on one of the terraces. In Schoorl and Groet each year in June a festival of arts named "Schoorlse Kunsten" takes place. During this three-day festival, there are expositions, theatre performances and concerts of various artists, who have in a certain way affinity with the two villages.
